At 13:10 on Friday, 26 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving 1 car and 1 lorry. Crews used Holmatro cutting equipment to release 1 casualty from car. Casualty now in care of West Midlands Ambulance service.

Fire involving electric heater which was out on arrival of crews. Crews used positive pressure ventilation to clear smoke logging and knapsack and thermal imaging camera for the heater. Casualty left in care of ambulance crews
