I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information on the amount of time fire
engines have been unavailable from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service.
I would like to know on how many occasions over the year a fire appliance has been unavailable due to insufficient crewing levels.
For each occasion, please could you provide the date, length of time the appliance was unavailable, type of appliance and the station it is based at.
Please could I have this information for the years 2015, 2019 and 2020 (not including subsequent years).

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request. We have broken the request down into Whole Time Station availability and On-Call Station availability.
Whole Time Stations
All Whole Time appliances at Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington have maintained 100% availability during 2019 and 2020.
In the year 2015 all Whole Time appliances at Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington have maintained 100% availability except for the month of February. Five Wholetime appliances were unavailable on 25 February 2015 from 07:00 to 18:00 and four wholetime appliances were unavailable from 18:00 to 09:00 on 26th February 2015.
