Request detail: 

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. 
I would be interested in any information held by your organisation regarding my request. I understand that I do not have to specify particular files or documents and it is the departments responsibility to provide the information I require. If you need further clarification please contact me by email.

I would like the information to be emailed to me in electronic form.

If my request is denied in whole or in part I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect you to release all non-exempt material. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any information or to charge excessive fees.

I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to your response within 20 working days as outlined by the statute.

The information I would like is;

1.       How much do you charge for sending one of your resources into a neighbouring county and therefore another FRS area?

2.       Do you pay different amounts for different types of resources?  The resources I am referring to are listed below;

·         Pump Rescue Ladder with 6+ crewing

·         Pump Rescue Ladder crewed at 5

·         Pump Rescue ladder with Brigade Response Vehicle (BRV) crewing

·         Pump Rescue Ladder crewed at 4

·         Pump Rescue Ladder crewed at 3

·         Aerials

·         Brigade Response Vehicles

·         AFA/BSV Vehicles

·         Command Support Vehicles

·         Prime Movers

·         Bobcat(Excluding Prime Mover & PRL)

·         Pods  - Including Flat Bed (Exc. Prime Mover )

·         Incident Command Unit

·         DIM Vehicle

·         HVP -Incl. Hydrosub & Hosebox Module (Exc Prime mover)

1. How much do you charge for sending one of your resources into a neighbouring county and therefore another FRS area?

Shropshire fire and Rescue Service do not charge for sending resources into neighbouring Counties as this is covered through existing 13/16 mutual aid agreements.

 

2. Do you pay different amounts for different types of resources? The resources I am referring to are listed below;

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service do pay for resources attending our County from West Midlands Fire Service and they would be better placed to provide any information in relation to the range of resources and assets listed below. In relation to National Deployments any remuneration of costs will be in line with the National Fire Chiefs Council guidelines on FRS charging for mutual aid.
