At 15:15 on Thursday, 4 January, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Sychtyn.

6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Ellesmere, Market Drayton, Oswestry, Prees and Tweedale. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Severe fire involving a domestic bungalow.
