At 11:51 on Monday, 19 April, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Leegomery .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of a fire involving rubbish in rear of refuge lorry. Lorry moved to waste disposal site, rubbish unloaded and crews used one hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera to damp down and check for hotspots.
