Incident and Mobilisation Datasets

Reference:

1033

Request detail:

I was wondering if your department possesses detailed incident and mobilisation data from 2009/2010 to present such as that of the London Fire and Rescue Services Department (sample datasets attached for reference) that I may acquire for my research project.

For example, incident data including:

  • Incident number
  • Date of call
  • Hour of call
  • Incident group
  • Special service type
  • Property type
  • Incident station ground
  • Deployed from station

And mobilisation data including:

  • Incident number
  • Date and time mobilised
  • Date and time mobile
  • Date and time arrived
  • Attendance time seconds
  • Date and time left
  • Deployed from station (name)

I am investigating flood impacts on emergency service provision to vulnerable populations under climate change. This includes how the emergency service provision varies throughout a flood event (for example, extended response times due to road inundation and evacuation traffic), hence my query about data availability. The study as a whole will be based on global-scale emergency service accessibility; however, a key chapter will be a regional assessment of emergency services in England so I am contacting all Fire and Rescue Service departments in the country regarding incident and mobilisation datasets.
