At 07:38 on Wednesday, 15 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Pylon in Cleobury Mortimer.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Oak tree had fallen over and brought down overhead power lines. The power lines were in a dangerous conditon in the roadway. No action by fire service personnel, incident was left with electricity company.

Crews called to reports of an electricity pylon on fire. This was out on arrival, caused by a fault, inspection only, western power also in attendance as a small amount of properties in the area were without power.

Fire involving an electricity pole in a field. The electricity supply has been isolated by Western Power, the fire crew cordoned off the area for public safety and used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
