4 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Assistance given to West Mercia Police. Assistance from Hereford and Worcester fire service.

1 casualty rescued from river using powered boat. Casualty in care of ambulance.

False alarm raised with good intent by a passer-by, due to a vehicle being seen in floodwater with no requirement for assistance.

Driver of one car stranded in floodwater, self rescued prior to Fire Service arrival. Crew provided 1st aid assistance awaiting arrival of Ambulance Service personnel.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of person in Balancing Lake at the rear of Claridon Hotel which proved to be a false alarm. Shropshire Fire Service search and water rescue teams together with Police made a thorough search of the balancing lake and surrounding area and no persons were found. Fire crew also used Shropshire Fire Service Drone to search the area.
