At 12:34 on Saturday, 12 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Prees and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Crews investigated reports of a cellar heavily smoke logged. This was caused from fumes from a boiler.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving single storey industrial building containing heavy machinery. Four breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 1 jet and 2 thermal image cameras in use. Quantity of cylinders removed by Fire Service Personnel.

Small fire in a light fitting. The fire was found to be out upon the arrival of the fire service who have isolated the electricity to the property.

• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire service were called to an AFA at the premises which, on arrival, was found to be a confirmed fire. 2 forklift trucks and one pallet of stock damaged by fire.
