Type Barn FireDetails Fire involving four bay barn with asbestos roof, containing approximately 40 tonnes of straw and one trailer of approximately 5 tonnes of straw fully involved in fire. An adjacent cattle building of 40m x 20m also suffered slight fire damage. A number of livestock were led away from buildings by fire service animal rescue technicians and an onsite responsible person. 1 main jet and breathing apparatus in use to extinguish fire. |
