Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service attended several incidents in Oswestry over the weekend.
At 5.10pm Sunday 13th April 2014 a report was received of a tree stump and overgrowth on fire in Twyford Lane, Oswestry. At 5.12pm we received a report of household rubbish and a mattress on fire under the bridge in Maesbury Road, Oswestry. At 4.50pm on the same day crews attended a report of a wheelie bin on fire in Gower Place, Oswestry. And at 2.53pm crews attended a report of a Ford Fiesta on fire in Bailey Head, Oswestry - the vehicle was subsequently reported stolen to the police.
