At 13:48 on Sunday, 9 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Dawley, Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm with good intent due to a controlled burn. Advice has been given.
