At 12:31 on Friday, 13 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford Town Centre.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire involves one van 75% involved in fire. 2BA and 2 hose reel jets have been used to extinguish the fire. The road between Hollinswood road and Hollinswood Interchange is currently closed
