At 19:13 on Friday, 15 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)

Fire in microwave, out on arrival, crews used breathing aparatus for comfort to ventilate the property
