At 18:51 on Sunday, 26 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Ellesmere Road Roundabout, Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Hatchback car 50% destroyed by fire. Crews used 2 hose reel jets, 2 breathing apparatus, thermal image camera and small gear.
