At 18:40 on Wednesday, 2 September, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem.

Incident involving fire in property in kitchen area. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet, 1 covering jet, ceiling hooks and 4 breathing apparatus in use.
