At 17:03 on Friday, 9 July, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

1 van fully involved in fire which had spread to adjacent tree. Crews extinguished using 2 hose reel jets.
