Refurbishment Fires

Dear Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service,

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act to request the following information:

1) The number of fires in your authority which have been reported on refurbishment works, in the last three years leading up to the date of your reply. 

2)The amount of money your fire authority spent dealing with these fires. 

If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.

If you can identify any ways that my request could be refined I would be grateful for any further advice and assistance.

The number of fires in your authority which have been reported on refurbishment works, in the last three years leading up to the date of your reply.  SFRS do not routinely record properties with refurbishment works, however we have searched our Information Recording System (IRS) incident log text for Refurbishments, Refurb or Renovat. During the period requested there was a Nil Return

2)The amount of money your fire authority spent dealing with these fires. N/A
