Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service is committed to "Putting Shropshire's Safety First". This section gives home fire safety information and advice that can help you and your family stay safe.

 

Many fires that occur each year could be avoided by some simple precautionary measures. A bedtime rountine, to reduce risks at night is also important, watch the video below for tips.

The safety in the home team carry out home fire safety visits, talks/presentations and work closely with fire-fighters that also carry out home fire safety visits.  The team are responsible for running campaigns throughout the year and working closely with agencies (for example housing associations, memory service and British Red Cross).

 

The safety in the home team comprises:
