At 21:10 on Wednesday, 16 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

1 car destroyed by fire crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
