At 19:22 on Saturday, 9 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved one vehicle which was 100% destroyed by fire which was caused by a mechanical fault.
