At 15:14 on Saturday, 23 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident was a small fire in the engine compartment of a domestic vehicle which was extinguished by fire service personnel using a lance attached to the hosereel
