At 14:59 on Wednesday, 18 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Cutters/Spreaders
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved one saloon vehicle which was 100% destroyed by fire. Holmatro spreaders were used to gain access to the boot and engine compartment.
