At 16:27 on Monday, 18 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Combine Harvester Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of combine harvester on fire in field. Farm personnel had extinguished fire prior to arrival of fire service. Fire was internal to machinery and fire crews used 1 hose reel jet, dry powder extinguishers and thermal image camera. Combine was moved off field on to farm yard.
