At 01:51 on Saturday, 6 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved one saloon vehicle 100% destroyed by fire. Crews extinguished using 2 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus.
