At 21:46 on Wednesday, 10 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident involved a combine harvester and straw field measuring approximately 200m x 100m
