HGV Fire

At 18:12 on Thursday, 11 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Wem.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Prees, Shrewsbury and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Combine Harvester fully involved in fire as well as stubble in field.
