At 16:06 on Friday, 12 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Bishops Castle.

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involved approximately 50m by 50m of standing, 1 combine harvester and surrounding woodland. Crews have extinguished all seats of fire and used 2 extended hose reel jets. Crews remaining in attendance to damp down combine harvester
