At 15:08 on Friday, 30 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved a fire in the engine compartment of an estate vehicle which was caused by an electrical fault. Fire service personnel used 2BA and one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire
