At 02:23 on Tuesday, 8 November, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 saloon vehicle fully involved in fire.
