At 15:43 on Tuesday, 29 November, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Newport.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

This incident involved electrical wiring in boot of car starting a fire within the vehicle. Car has been made safe by crews and handed back to occupier.
