HGV Fire

At 05:06 on Wednesday, 11 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Whitchurch.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 articulated lorry involved in fire at rear of cab. Fire in turbo now extinguished using 2 hosereel jets and 4 breathing apparatus.
