At 10:24 on Friday, 24 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Donnington Wood, Telford.

5 fire appliances including the Water Carrier were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Newport, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Fire involving 1 electric car, 50% of which was involved in fire.
