At 15:42 on Saturday, 25 March, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involving one saloon car with small fire in engine compartment. The fire was out on arrival. Crews damped down the fire using one hose reel jet and checked temperatures with a thermal imaging camera.
