At 11:47 on Saturday, 22 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Small fire in engine bay of small van. 1 hosereel jet used to extinguish and obstructions cleared from highway.
