At 06:20 on Wednesday, 28 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

This incident was a false alarm due to engine malfunction within vehicle. Crews checked vehicle over using thermal imaging camera. No action required by fire service
