At 23:23 on Friday, 28 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

1 car 50% destroyed by fire.
