At 21:12 on Thursday, 1 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington.

Reports of car fire which proved to be a van on fire 30% involved and 1 caravan 40% involved. Fire crews used 2 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus.
