At 01:19 on Tuesday, 5 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

One saloon vehicle 100% destroyed by fire. Fire extinguished using one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus.
