At 22:30 on Tuesday, 2 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Whitchurch.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved one car 100% destroyed by fire and also affected hedgerow, crews used two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets to extinguish.
