At 19:00 on Thursday, 27 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Incident involved 1 hatchback car alight on the carriageway. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hosereel jet and an environmental grab pack.
