At 13:34 on Friday, 5 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving 4x4 vehicle, the car was fully destroyed by fire but all occupants were safely out of the vehicle prior to arrival of Fire Service.
