LGV Fire

At 22:18 on Sunday, 1 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

3 agricultural vehicles well alight. Crews extinguishing using 2 hosereel jets and one main jet with foam.
