LGV Fire

At 10:12 on Wednesday, 2 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Small fire in engine compartment of large agricultural vehicle. Crews used hosereel jet to fully extinguish fire following action taken by farmer prior to crews arrival.
