At 18:48 on Saturday, 9 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

One saloon car 100% destroyed by fire, two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet
