At 15:51 on Sunday, 17 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Newport.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Market Drayton and Newport. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Fire involving outbuilding and saloon car 4 Breathing Apparatus 2 Hose Reel Jets and 1 Main Jet
