At 00:55 on Monday, 23 May, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Childs Ercall.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving one car - 100% involved in fire. Two breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and thermal image camera in use. Investigation of residential property carried out - no damage.
