At 08:04 on Monday, 23 May, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Cosford, Albrighton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

One saloon vehicle 80% damaged by fire due to mechanical failure, crews used breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and small gear
