At 12:58 on Monday, 26 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Involving 1 car which has left the road and come to rest in hedgerow, 50% of the vehicle has been affected by fire which has also affected the hedgerow.
