At 18:38 on Tuesday, 21 February, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Bridgnorth .

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Telford. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

A faulty oven caused it to overheat and glow red - oven isolated and removed from kitchen. Inspection carried out using thermal imaging camera.
